The Kissaway Trail - New Lipstick

The Kissaway Trail has a cool sound across all of their songs on Sleep Mountain.   New Lipstick is one of the better songs but I wonder what it means.  Does the new lipstick hide the night's sad stories?  And is the city somehow responsible, providing tacit approval with its winking lights?  Or is it really all about new lipstick??
