I love this song!! I think it's a cautionary tale about the pursuit of pleasure for it's own sake. Living life to the fullest is a great thing but losing oneself in the pursuit can be the end result. Happiness has to be built brick by brick, not chased!In this case, Kid Cudi keeps repeating that he'll be good once he gets "it." It's only in the last line of the song that he sings "I don't get it, I'll be good." Maybe the day after a hard night raises the consciousness a little!
As always, I could just be reading too much into a song that simply sounds great. But I don't think so.
