Oh Land - White Nights

Nanna Øland Fabricius is a Danish songwriter who goes by the stage name "Oh Land."  The song reminds me of dream-filled nights that seem so active that you hardly feel like you've slept when you awake in the morning.

In an interview on buzzine.com (click here to view), Oh Land says that the song is "specifically about New York, and that song is about those nights where you just don’t want to go to sleep because there’s just too much to take in, too much inspiration, and the police car sirens and the noise and the traffic almost get like a mythological meaning and a call, like the sailor and the sea."
